Only a year ago, life was perceived as normal: where in fact digital communications replaced our physical reunions. Our life was an ongoing wave of change, a series of different events.
This year we discovered that life is about people interactions, we discovered we were vulnerable yet strong, that life was easy yet complex, that Nature was complimentary to our wellbeing, that animals have a heart, a soul, and a mind. We discovered that the world we live in, has lost some of its values as well as some of its positive attributes such as emotion and conviviality. Some would call it the year of death or the year of isolation. However, I look at it as the year of our Re-union.
In spite of the virtual world surrounding us, we realized the real value of Humanity. We yearned to party, to dance, to hold hands, to kiss and to hug. We longed to celebrate our humanity, connecting in compassion and disagreement. We yearned to get together without caution or prohibition, to embrace with no anxiety or stress. This is essentially what our life is all about; connecting with each other, holding to each other and joining hands in compassion to integrate and grow.
In my village, by the stream, people would gather on Fridays, spring days and holidays, all optimistic about a better tomorrow. Indeed, positive vibes reach these flocks of animals around water, the source of life. A life that radiates fertility, prosperity, love and Re-union.
