MOSTAFA EL RAZZAZ
Time never separates the old from the new in Mostafa ElRazzaz’s works; layers of history are always integral to the contemporary. Here, familiar motifs are released randomly onto the canvas, then brought together in an act of mythical rediscovery. Their resurrection is not a return to the past, it is a renewed encounter with it.
